Ted Thompson`s drafts have led to at least one (imagine more to come) Superbowl win. Remind us again of how many the Queens have one. Here`s to the next 50 years of futility.

He is friends with Jason Wilde, the main GB beat writer for Milwaukee. Homer and Thunder- the show Jason and Aaron are on- is one of the best radio shows in the country for removing rhetoric and focusing on what actually matters to winning football games.

He’s whiny at best. Smug. His commercials are shameless and terrible. Every time he opens his mouth you kinda want to slap him in the face. He does his little bromance stuff with Braun. I hope the packers go back to playing at the level of the completeness (one that plays no defense and can’t run) of their team and stay there so we don’t have to hear from this prick anymore.

The guy that faced the Favre saga storm… the guy that had to live with looney favre fans like Wisconsin77 openly wishing injury on him – yet never “lost it” or whined…
the guy whose oline gave up 50 sacks – yet never threw any of ‘em under the bus….

Amen to that…Jay has his own show on ESPN Chicago (Waddle & Silvy Show), listening to it you can tell they like and respect each other, and Jay is relaxed and easy going. I imagine this is more his true personality than what is on display after games, when his diabetes, and media scribes looking to stir up controversy, may be affecting his mood.

Instead of transcripts, which the media can spin without actually hearing the context and tone of a comment, the stations should send tape of the audio. I’m sure there will still be those with an agenda who twist a QB’s words, but maybe not so much.

As for Rodgers, as a Bears fan I respect the man, both for his talent, and his character.

Strangely, I don’t see any posts on this site about the part in the 5 minutes interview where he raves about Randall Cobb and suggests the receiver could go down as the greatest draft pick Ted Thompson ever made.

Because, you know, it’s much more fun to read stories about how he’s a poor leader who takes all the credit and none of the blame

People living in glass houses shouldn’t throw stones. Though maybe it’s safe to throw five-yard checkdowns like their namesake does; they won’t make it quite to the glass.

15 minutes on the air with PA isn’t quite the same as an hour long show in terms of potential for generating quotes. Plus, nobody cares enough about him to bother pulling his quotes out of context.

it is inevitably quoted by the Baylesses of the world as:

“This whole team…the other guys, need to pick up quality of play.”

But the only thing “ridiculous” about this whole story is this article.

I had not heard about this story before this article but here is what I got out of it.

This article: Aaron Rodgers needs to understand that when he said “X” what he really said was “X” and he needs to understand what his words really say.

Yet when florio chooses an portion of the interview it makes it seem like he is seeking out the media to make sure everyone can hear what he has to say. When in reality he gets asked legit questions and gives legit answers. We should be thankful that a player in this league provides something other than fluffy BS comments.

He has a radio show. Keeping his mouth shut would make for very bad radio. I’m sorry your QB isn’t good enough to warrant a radio show.

How about once a month you find a reporter to chastise for asking idiotic questions so you can lambast them like you do the actual athletes?
