I would like to see the Vikes limit Adrian to as few carries as possible Sunday, to give his ankle some rest. Gerhart could use the work, and is healthy. Vikings look to had excellent Drafts the past few years. Many said Ponder (12th) was drafted way to early, except Newton(1), Locker(8), Gabbert(10) in the 2011 Draft have not done as well this year….

15 of the Vikings starters were drafted in the last 7 years. 5 others Vikings draft picks are playing for other teams, and 3 of them are starting, to the best of my knowledge. 2 other Vikings starters (Williams and Greenway) were also Vikings picks.

That leaves Johnson, Felton, whoever is starting opposite Harvin, Allen, and Winfield. I’d say Allen and Winfield have worked out just fine. Johnson and Felton appear to be serviceable and worth their price. And the track record for any team signing a FA WR without throwing $50 mil at them is not very good.
