Jacobs finally active for 49ers, Manningham down

A week after he wanted to play against his old team (which he may or may not have been frustrated about), running back Brandon Jacobs finally gets a 49ers uniform.

With wide receiver Mario Manningham inactive for the game against the Seahawks, the 49ers finally had room for Jacobs for the first time. Manningham’s still recovering from a shoulder injury from last week’s loss to the Giants.

Left tackle Joe Staley is also active for the 49ers. He was listed as questionable after suffering a concussion last week.

Also inactive for the 49ers are: quarterback Scott Tolzien, wide receiver A.J. Jenkins, running back LaMichael James, safety Trenton Robinson, guard Joe Looney and nose tackle Ian Williams.

For the Seahawks: Wide receiver Charly Martin, safety Winston Guy, cornerbacks Danny Gorrer and Byron Maxwell, guards J.R. Sweezy and John Moffitt and defensive tackle Jaye Howard.
