Johnathan Joseph misses practice, but Texans expect him to play

Texans cornerback Johnathan Joseph is expected to play in Sunday’s game against the Ravens, despite missing practice again today.

Houston coach Gary Kubiak said after practice that Joseph, who has started all six games this season but has been slowed by soreness in his groin, should be good to go.

I’m thinking very positive about it,” Kubiak said, via “He’s really upbeat. We’ll see where he is tomorrow. I feel pretty good about where he is for Sunday.”

The Texans got three players — Arian Foster, Bradie James and Antonio Smith — back to full participation today after they were limited on Wednesday. Antoine Caldwell, however, has still not been cleared to return after suffering a concussion.

But should he? The groin injury has SEVERLY hampered him. He got torched like I’ve never seen him get torched. Jordy Nelson is a good receiver but he made one of the best CBs in the business look like a JV kid.

Torrey Smith has some serious wheels and I don’t think Kareem Jackson can handle him. But I’m not super confident that Allan Ball can handle him either.

This game is going to be an offensive feast.
