He’s not playing football, he’s just playing mind games with Houston. There’s no chance his cardio is up to snuff coming off an achilles injury.

As much I love the Ravens, I would want T-Sizzle to be back and strengthen the Ravens D. But it would be a lot better if he took his time to recover and not hurry things. When you do come…. Come back GREAT!!!!

As a Texans fan, I hope Suggs does try to play this Sunday. It’s way too soon, and there’s a good chance he’ll suffer a setback if he goes too hard. Don’t ever like to see a player hurt, but I doubt Suggs will be the least bit effective this soon.

Not at all. Doctors said after surgery that recovery time would take 6-12 months. October would be right around 6 months. Doctors also said that when they went in to repair the tendon that it was actually in much better shape then the MRI indicated. I believe at the time they originally were calling it a complete tear. But when Doctors went in they said it was only a slight partial tear.

The guy is still a beast but the recovery hasn’t been unhuman like.

Suggs refuted the report from Adam Schefter. Wouldn’t rule out playing but says there’s no plan. Family not going to Houston.

Terrell Suggs on this morning’s report: “If it didn’t come from coach Harbaugh or myself, then it’s really not a credible source.”

Terrell Suggs on potentially playing Sunday: “There’s no plan in place. Got to take it day-by-day.”

On playing Sunday: “I was really going to take it down to the minute. We’ll all decide. Right now, we’re just feeling it out.”

So that’s that.

Obviously the team is desperate giving up 200 yards or more on the ground with Lewis and Webb in the last how many games and on the road against Houston and Foster ? Foster torched them in the playoffs last season on the ground and in the air. By all means hurry Suggs back into the game. He hasn’t played a down in how long ? How many snaps before he tears the Achilles again ? It’s desperation time in Nevermore…….

these ravens fans and Tsizz are ridiculous, even if he does play do all of yall actually think he will be effective?? this is week 7 he is nowhere near mid season form texans are. even the article states there are sources saying he he as gained weight and he is expected to come in and win this and save the season?! whats the point of putting him in if the texans are gonna run arian and tate all day??

If I was Harbaugh, I’d keep Suggs on the shelf until after the bye. That gives him another 2 1/2 weeks to get his legs under him, and hopefully shed a few of those lbs. that he put on while he was laid up.

Additionally, if Ngata’s MCL sprain is more than just a small tweak, I’d consider sitting him for the Houston game as well. The defense has been playing poorly enough as it is, but if Ngata pushes it and is out for any significant time, it will be even worse.

Winning against Houston IN Houston is going to be a tall order at full strength. You don’t ever want to concede a game, but Baltimore is going to need both of these guys for the long haul if they’re going to have a shot at going deep into the playoffs.

Sizzle ain’t playing Sunday but he’ll play before long and that means bad things for other teams. His wife was at the cowboys game, doesn’t mean he played in it and Harboh ain’t rushing him back with all the other injuries piling up. We get a bye week after this game and worst case 5-2 record which is just fine based on weakness of old and tired steelers and the we never make playoffs 2 years in a row bengals.

Don’t want him to rush back but why does everyone think he had the same Achilles injury as say Jason Peters? He never ruptured it and it was always listed as a slight tear. I’d prefer he sits until after the Cleveland game myself but you never know with Sizzle.

I love his competitive nature wanting to get back but with a bye week next week he doesn’t need to push the envelope this week. Even a healthy Ravens team would be in for a tough game @ Houston. I’d rather him wait another couple weeks. They have winnable games coming up anyway. Next week is a bye week, then @ Cleveland, then at home vs Oakland. Get healthy, get in football shape, and come back full strength Sunday night @ Pittsburgh.

I’d rather he take this week and the bye week off and come back after that, he was a very LIMITED participant in yesterday’s practice, no way he is ready to go Sunday. At least that way he can get back into the practice groove and really evaluate how it feels before rushing back and re-injurung it.

Ravens may lose. they will still be 1.5 games ahead of Steelers….if the Steelers can beat the Bengals, but that’s not guaranteed considering how bad they’ve looked this year

As some1 who has ruptured an Achilles I was one of those ppl who never thought he would be able to make it back this year. Can’t believe he got the tendon to full strength and got all the muscle back in his leg that quickly, definitely a st8 beast. I’m sure some HGH helped him out a bit tho.

That’s obviously not going to happen. I know he would love to play, and that’s really what he’s saying. Keep rushing your return. What’s bad for your knee is bad for the Ratbirds and better for the Steelers. With all the injuries now mounting and Ed Reed not knowing which body part is which, that 5-1 record is not looking as good as it looks. It’s not it has looked good. Ratbirds have a huge horseshoe up their A$$ and the Texans are going to remove it this weekend.

If he plays this Sunday the Ravens would be smart to use him only on passing downs. While the ankle may feel fine, he could very easily strain a calf or a hammy or something by overworking it.

With Webb and Ray out they need this guy more than ever… they shouldn’t risk him for an extended period, even if this is a huge game from a potential playoff seeding perspective.

I’m not surprised at all that he wants to play in Houston, especially since it’s such a big game for the Ravens. While I’m sure he’s kept up with his workout regimen during his rehab, I really doubt he’s in football playing condition right now. I’d much rather him come back to play in Cleveland after the bye week.
