As a 49er fan, I’m kinda concerned that Al Davis’ ghost is talking to Harbaugh. Is it Al Davis circa 1977? Or Al Davis from 2007? Because idk if I want any help from the guy who drafted Jarmcus.

But beast mode is the toughest back in the league, and i don’t think anyone could argue a case for any other back out there. So, next time grown folks are talking, take your lil grade school self out the room, snag a box of crayons and, don’t go near that computer. both teams fought hard, broken ribs is no joke, and niether are either of these two teams.

I think ppl are taking this comments out of context.. I’m sure Boone meant to say that they were tired not that they gave up.. Seattle has a good D and the game was still within reach, so i doubt they gave up.. They just couldnt keep up like most teams that have to face 30+ rushes from the niners..

Lets face it, the niners game plan is to tired out their opponent and then go in for the kill in the 2nd half. It reminds me a lot to gladiators style.. and thats why they are good team when they play with the lead.. Look at the 2 games when they were losing big at half time.. they couldnt mustard anything in the 2nd half because they couldnt play their game.

What a comment??? The D quit? They fought until the last play and gave Wilson two chances to tie it in the last 5 minutes. Gore/Hunter and the o-line did start taking control because our offense couldn’t stay on the field more than 3 plays.

Gave up? No. Got tired? Yes.

When your offense can’t sustain a drive to save their lives, fatigue happens. Good play calling by S.F. to dink and dunk down the field and run where the linebackers weren’t and put together some long methodical drives. Seattle took themselves out of the game offensively with drops and horribly timed penalties.

Considering how the Seahawks offense let the game go by what: 5 wide receiver drops, and the drop from the running back Turbin in the end zone for a touchdown, the missed field goal, the 49er’s should consider themselves lucky. By the end, the Seattle defense did look gased, since they played most of the game while the offense went 3 and out.

Are you serious…Gore overrated, fatigued?

Gore suffered bruised ribs on the check off pass to Gore in the first half. The pass was high, as usual with Smith, and Gore was exposed and hit in the back…ribs! But he was so soft and tired that he continued to play the rest of the game and most people didn’t notice how injured and in pain he was until late in the 2nd half…when you thought he was tired.

Have you had bruised ribs before…it hurts to breathe. That’s why Gore did not take force contact when he could avoid it with a slide. That’s why he looked winded.

Gore is a beast and the only reason the offense can move the ball consistently. Without Gore, we would be…the Seahawks!

Tired does not mean giving up. I saw no indictation that the Seahawks gave up. They did look tired in the second half, though, and that’s when the Niners gashed them. Stay classy, Boone.

It was a great, physical win, but I agree that the Niners gave up last week against the Giants. They need to shut their mouth and look towards their divisional game next week in Arizona. Alex Smith is looking like the Alex Smith of 2005-2010 throwing passes he knows he has no business throwing….

I’m a Seahawks fan and I follow the team closely. Boone is right, they dominated the Seahawks D-Line on the last two drives. I think it had less to do with fatigue and more to do with a definitive quality differential. The 49ers O-Line is the best in the league and maybe one of the best ever. That is the key to the team more than the two Smiths or the linebackers. They have three first rounders (all of whom deserve their draft grades) and another guy (Boone), who would have been a first rounder if it weren’t for his alcoholism. He appears to have that beat and now these guys are unstoppable as a running team. Frank Gore, by the way, is way overrated. Oh c’mon 9ers. I’m a 9erfan and the 9ers flat out quit last week against the Giants so I think the players just need to shut up about players quitting. Rocks…..glass houses….always a dumb idea.
