All Mendenhall did was carry the entire offense against the Eagles en route to a 16-14 win.
The Steelers had two weeks to prepare for that game yet managed to score just one TD, via a short dump-off pass to Mendenhall.
I realize that he’s injury-prone, but the hatred for this guy is unwarranted.

Dwyer is a more sturdy runner but I like what Batch and Rainey bring to the table. Batch is more well-rounded as far as his ability to block and catch passes but there is no substitute for the kind of speed that Rainey has. Of course, all this means nothing if the o-line doesn’t block! Here’s to hoping Gilbert doesn’t wipe out any more starters.

They may need to throw in a gadget or trick play this time. Rainey needs to take one to the house on Sunday to help balance the load. All hands on deck.

Batch will not be the starter. He was only active (and dwyer inactive) because he plays more special teams than dwyer. With mendy and redman, you dont need another offense only RB active,
