Sometimes stats mean nothing at the college level. then the player turns around and puts up unbelievable numbers when he enters the NFL. Sometimes players with all of the broken NCAA records enter the NFL and bomb out. Its all a huge guess and hope game. Yes, some of these Scouts do actually pick out the future NFL stars, like Adrian Peterson, Peyton Manning, Eli Manning, Lawrence Taylor, Bruce Smith, but outside the top 10 first round draft picks, Its anybodies guess who makes it. Sometimes even the top 10 fail, Its crazy how the hype can get so nuts and that player ends up out of the league after a couple of seasons. Luck is a big part of the Draft. More than some think.
