Rex: so what kind of offense does McDaniels run?

Tebow: he will usually start off with two runs, at least one of which is a QB option. On the third play he might let you heave one done field to get a pas interference call or maybe some kind of miracle play. However, normally he’d punt after that.

Rex: won’t he throw the ball more than that?

Tebow: no, no, no. Not at all. Passes would bounce into the dirt, sail pass wide open receivers and often end up in the hands of the defense. So no. He won’t call very many pass plays. The key to his offense is to hang around long enough so that you might get really lucky in the last two minutes and pull a win out of your rear end

How much info can Tebow give? I mean they had a system designed special for Tebow in Denver. As for tendencies, the Pats weapons are completely different from what McDaniel had in Denver. So if it is a 3rd and 2 he could very well have Brady throw a deep post oppose to have Tebow grind out those two yards.

Tebow playing Brady sounds a bit funny, but it really is more of them having someone to go through the motions with the jets defense of what the Pats tend to do on offense. They do the same stuff on NFL live.

Here’s what I remember about McDaniels play calling from his denver days….run, wr screen, wr screen, punt. Sprinkled in with the every now and then immaculate play. (See brandon stokley). But any way around it, when it comes to Sunday. Belichick has final say on plays, while McDaniels huddles up in his wind pants taking care of the one tool that has gotten him where he is. Regardless of that tho, tebow giving input probably goes as far as “he likes to throw the ball coach, praise little baby Jesus in his gold fleece diapers that he likes to throw the ball. Aw shucks coach” lol

I don’t understand why Tebow doesn’t just come to terms with the fact that he isn’t that great of a NFL Caliber QB.

Why doesn’t he try something like maybe RB or TE? He’s a big guy, that can move and is seemingly hard to tackle for some.

He wants to help teams win, why doesn’t he play a position where he can actually contribute?
