revelationary says:Oct 21, 2012 4:18 PM

Most concerning: Yet ANOTHER game without a 4th Quarter comeback by Rodgers. This team isn’t going anywhere without a QB who leads 4th Quarter comebacks every week like real elite QBs do.
_____________

Yeah, because elite QBs need to be losing in the fourth quarter.

P. Mannings' elite, because he helped the beat the Chargers from a 24-0 deficit?

Even though he helped put that team in the spot?

Thats foolish.

Nothing entertains me more than the fans of other teams claiming the Packers fans whine and complain...by whining and complaining. Comical and amazingly ignorant all in one.

And Florio is right, the Packers are better than 4-3, they are actually 5-2 but have only been credited for 4 wins.

I still would have liked to see how much of the city of Philadelphia would have burned or how many shootings would have occured in San Francisco parkings lots had their team been denied of a win as the Packers were in Seattle.

And better yet, look at Matt Flynn’s performance in that offense. You know they guy that got beat out by a 5’10″ rookie. He owns how many packers single game records?

Yeah….

His performance in the playoffs? You mean the record amount of drops for the Packers in a single game?

It can all be avoided by just sidestepping your jealousy and trying for just a pinch of common sense.

==================================

You're still hung-up on last year? There's not a team in the league that is the same team as last year. The Packers got beat (last year) by a better Giants team.....the Giants won the SuperBowl by the way, which means they were better than everybody...including the Packers. First postseason game or fourth...doesn't matter....Giants won. One and done isn't any harder to take than four and done. But you would have to be able to cheer for a team that has actually been there under those conditions and that, I think, must be your disconnect.

The Packers will probably enter the bye week in a tie with Vikings and one game behind the Bears.

They should come out of the bye week in a three way tie for the division, and then take over the division by week 12, never looking back.

Didn't have his starting RB. Didn't have his #1 WR. And he still carved up an above-average defense on their home field.
He and Cobb hooked up on a TD that was nothing short of superb on both ends. One of his seven "incompletions" was a spike. He's not infallible, but there's no one - no one - that I'd rather have at QB than this particular "just a system" guy.

The ONLY argument with any credibility for him NOT being elite/best qb is his record when trailing in 4q games. But aside from that any other metric an elite qb is measured by he crushes it. Heck he is even an elite tackler just ask urlacher.

Rams will be a very good team soon - load up on offensive line, thats been a problem spot for years. I think their QB, DLine are both outstanding. And they have some good CB's, RB's and I like their TE.

Whoever pissed off Aaron Rodgers owes an apology to the Texans and Rams.

The Rams finally look like they are headed in the right direction. They just don't have the talent to hang with the top tier teams in the NFC.

Let's look at some of the encouraging signs other than the obvious fact that Rodgers is a virtuoso QB for the ages. Casey Hayward is looking like a very solid corner for years to come, Davon House was very solid as well coming back from his preseason injury. At the beginning of the season, us Packer fans were terrified at the prospect of having Sam Shields and Jarrett Bush left on an island, looks like Hayward and House have solved that problem. The Rams have an excellent D-Line, and while we took a few sacks, the OLine was not overpowered like they were against other great pass rushes earlier in the season.
