Bucs rolling over a still-bad Saints defense

Tiquan Underwood, Jeremy Zuttah, Doug Martin AP

The return of Saints linebacker Jonathan Vilma might have provided an emotional boost, but it doesn’t compensate for the fact the Saints defense isn’t very good.

The Bucs have raced to a 21-7 lead early in the second quarter, answering a Saints touchdown drive with one of their own.

Vilma began the game playing only on nickel, but is taking more snaps after Jonathan Casillas walked off with an undisclosed injury.

Josh Freeman has thrown a pair of touchdowns and Doug Martin ran for a 57-yard score, and the Bucs look dominant.

Doesn’t look to me like the Bucs defense are doing much better.
