The Jets just capped an impressive fourth quarter drive with a touchdown pass to tight end Dustin Keller, but it might have been a costly trip down the field.

Running back Shonn Greene left the game after taking a massive shot from Patriots linebacker Brandon Spikes following a catch in the middle of the field. Greene went down like a rock after the hit, but was able to get up and walk off the field under his own power. He stood on the sideline for a short time before heading back to the locker room.

Greene played a big role in the 14-play, 94-yard drive that cut the score to 23-20 with under five minutes to play in the game. The Jets offense has been better in the second half, although their inability to punch the ball into the end zone on their first possession of the half looms pretty large at this point in the game. Their defense, which has done a fine job against Tom Brady and the Patriots, will need to come up with one more stop to give Mark Sanchez a shot to tie or win the game.

If they do get the ball back and Greene remains out, the Jets have a ragtag group of backs to choose from. Joe McKnight, Lex Hilliard and Jonathan Grimes have all seen time at running back. Contrary to some talk this week, Tim Tebow has not.
