Penalty wipes out another Percy Harvin kickoff return for touchdown

Percy Harvin, DeAngelo Hall AP

The Vikings got their game against the Cardinals off to a great start, with receiver Percy Harvin taking the opening kickoff 103 yards for a score.

But it all came back, thanks to an illegal block in the back.

And it came all the way back inside the Minnesota 10.  And then there was a holding penalty on center John Sullivan.  And then the Vikings got nowhere, punting to the Cardinals.

And the punt went only 35 yards.

He’s the MVP so far this season. And the Vikes need to lock him up with a long term deal!!! The Vikes must pick a wide out in this years draft a big fast deep threat to stretch the field. Not that they don’t have other needs Maybe a run stuffing nose tackle!!
