Terrell Suggs active vs. Texans

Raven's Suggs taunts Steelers fans before the teams' NFL football game in Pittsburgh Reuters

When Ravens linebacker Terrell Suggs tore his Achilles tendon during the offseason, he might have been the only person alive who seriously believed he could play as soon as October. But he was right.

Suggs is active for today’s game against the Texans.

This completes an amazingly fast recovery from an injury that usually costs players an entire season. Suggs has only missed the minimum six weeks that were required when he opened the season on the non-football injury list.

We don’t know how many plays Suggs will get or how effective he will be, and some reports have suggested that Suggs isn’t in great shape — which would be understandable considering that he’s been rehabbing a serious injury. But considering that Suggs has proved all the doubters wrong to this point, it’s hard to bet against him having an immediate impact on the Ravens’ defense.

He will have no impact. Except that he’s taking someone else’s active roster spot.

The BYE week is SO CLOSE. Obviously I have no idea how he feels health-wise, but it seems like 2 more weeks of rest would be pretty beneficial, and he’d only be missing one more game.

But I know M&T Bank Stadium just isn’t the same without Sizzle playing to the crowd.

    BALL SO HARD!

Why, why, why? As a Ravens fan this is a huge mistake. If he sits today he gets another 2 weeks off before testing this injury out. If we lose today we are still #2 seed based on tie breakers and have Clev n Oak up after bye. If I am the Texans, I hit him every single play he is on the field to make him regret putting on pads….
Ozzie, ur untouchable loft is coming back to earth my friend.

Panic move. I hope he doesn’t make it worse or re tear it. He will be a shell of himself last year. Their D will be pathetic with or without him.

I remember when the little girl htowntexan was saying suggs was afraid of the Texans.

The funny thing is, I watched the texans last week, and they looked like a college squad vs. the Packers

Who would be afraid of that?

    Not Terrell Suggs.

He looks like the guy who ate Terrell Suggs

Man did he eat well during his time off

    Steelers fans = Trash

And I’m not even a Ravens fan.

When you hope for IR for someone, you prove you have no place in society.

And you really don’t want to talk about steroids… with “I’ve had dozens of concussions” Harrison on your squad. He hasn’t done one thing that hasn’t been on performance enhancers.

    Everyone knows it.

texans need to run the ball at ‘big lips’ suggs all day. when they do that big lips will take himself out of the game and sit his sorry ass on the bench because big lips has officially become a mediocre nfl player . the achilles will never be the same for big lips suggs.

It’s shocking to me how many (FAN-DOCTORS) their are in the Ravens fanfare with their own personal daignoses that seem to think Suggs is not ready to play, had you paid more attention when it was done you may have had a clue when he say it was a small tear not a complete tear in fact it was a very small tear that’s why he repeatedly said he would be back by October. Outsider don’t care and hope it’s a bad move but most true Raven fans could careless about these outsider tools. The other so called fans or should I say fareweather fans are not intouch with their own team. I say lets see what happens on the field, so don’t be surprise if he get 3 0r 4 sacks a force fumble or maybe even and interception, that could turninto a pick 6 who knows.
