The Ravens had a terrible game yesterday and the Texans put a whoopin on them. I’ll take 5-2 going into the bye with Cleveland and Oakland on the otherside before we get into the playoff push. Yep, we sure are! You run your mouth 24/7 about how great the Ratbirds are and about how the Steelers suck, yet here we are just 1 game behind you in second place and coming up fast. Your D can’t seem to stop a nosebleed these days and Unibrow is an exposed puppy when he’s relied upon to pull it out. To sum up: you were WRONG about the Ratbirds, and you are WRONG about the Steelers who are now 3-3 and ascending. Plenty to brag about when you pick yourself up after some bad losses and show you still have the will to win. Maybe one day you’ll learn that, but for now all your team has shown is that if the refs don’t hand them a game all they can do is crap the bed.

Yes, you are missing something. It’s called a “clue”. Have fun rationalizing the rest of the season. It’s over for the Ravens. What really stinks is the front office might actually think about going in another direction QB-wise. That really bums out all the other teams in the AFC.

Pass on 1st down, pass on 2nd down, pass on 3rd down, take your best player out of the game without the defense addressing him themselves, and most importantly going 3 and out consistently to have your banged up, declining, shell of itself, defense on the field against a highly motivated team with all the fire power you have and maybe more. This Ravens team needs to figure out its identity on offense and remember 1 thing, #5 is not #12, #18, or #9.

But despite last week’s loss, the Texans ARE one of (if not the) best teams in the AFC. The Ravens had to know this was coming…their defense just isn’t good enough anymore and can no longer cover for Flacco when he has such a horrible game (he is way too inconsistent to be considered elite). But if we happen to face the Ravens in the play-off’s, i’d much rather it be here in Houston because they are tough to beat in Baltimore!

Sorry. You can’t have it both ways. If Flacco were the “elite” QB he and you say he is, he’d overcome that. Because that’s EXACTLY what “elite” QBs do!

Elite QBs win games even when your star defenders are out, and your o-line stinks. Just ask the Steelers, whose QB has been doing it for years.
