How about not making the team hang around after a game and travel, just so you can have your meeting with them that same night? He better hope they win today, or they won't be in the mood to listen to any rah rah speeches tonight.

If i may, I’d like to point out two things re the bounty mess: one is my opinion and the other is fact.

Fact: the overwhelming majority of players in the NFL regard Jon Vilma and Scott Fujita as heroic,
====================
How asinine is this as a "fact"? LOL I haven't heard a single player in the NFL outside of current or ex saints* players make any kind of comment regarding bountygate which I perceive as the rest of the NFL players not supporting Vilma and Co.

If i may, I'd like to point out two things re the bounty mess: one is my opinion and the other is fact.

Fact: the overwhelming majority of players in the NFL regard Jon Vilma and Scott Fujita as heroic, standing up to a dictatorial bully. They wouldnt even make the top 100 list of dirty players in the NFL, much less the top 10. Your team"s players (excluding Vikes and maybe falcons) support them whether you do or not.

Opinion: the ends don't justify the means. If you want to improve player safety and punish players who cross a line you should not be criticized. But when you throw all fairness and integrity out the window and sacrifice basic decency to do it, you have become much worse than that you wanted to punish.
