Comments on: Lions’ two new cornerbacks both active vs. Bears

Last week in the 4th quarter Mikel Leshore had some very nice runs against the Philly defense, who loaded up against the pass. The fact that we have a legit running game will give Stafford and Co. some help — Bears D can’t just load up against the pass.

On the other side of the ball, we’ve been good against the run, and good rushing the QB. Teams commit so much to stopping Suh that everyone else is breaking through. I like Suh and Fairley starting side by side tonight.

So if we can get some pressure on Cutler and maybe hurry some throws, it may create situations to give our DBs some swagger out there.

It will be a fun game tonight.

I already voted, so it will be more fun than the foreign policy debate.

Jay didn’t want to play in Denver. He was hated for his play and comparing his arm to Elway long before he quit on the Broncos! Get your facts straight.

I mean the kid has good ball skills. He got a ton of picks as a Lion, but to get those picks he’d bail on his coverage. Too much boom or bust play. I’d rather have him just make the stop after a 6 yard catch than have him either get an int for burned for a huge td.

Funny how he wasn’t hated until he left…17-20 for a bad Broncos team, and a Pro Bowl appearance…As a Bear, 28-18 overall, 23-9 in his last 32, and 9-1 in his last 10.

If our O-line can’t pass block, it won’t matter…That said they’ve been much improved since Cutler got in Webb’s face…Go Bears!
