I think it is a valid comparison, to a point. It sounds like you’re saying integrity doesn’t matter unless someone dies. Integrity is a lifestyle decision, as is cheating. Getting caught is external.

You’re right joesix, no team other than the Pats has ever cheated. Yeah that whole thing with the Broncos cheating the salary cap in the 90s and the Steelers using roids in the 70s and the Saints paying for injuries and the Dolphins recording snap counts with microphones and the Colts piping in crowd noise, yeah none of that ever happened.

The Pats are such a special team that they’re the only sports franchise ever that’s bent the rules

Does everyone realize the reason why they put microphones in helmets of the QB and MLB is because the whole f-ing league was trying to decipher signals? Also – videotaping the other teams signals always has and still is permissable. You just cannot do it from designated areas. Anyway this stickum thing is stupid. Stickum where? Anyone who has used these gloves no one thing – the gloves the receivers wear might be 300% more effective than stickum. Every week you see receivers catching balls like they are a first baseman. Ban the friggin gloves and you will see a completley different passing game. Stickum – who cares. The only reason it was banned in the first place was not because of an unfair advantage it was because they made of mess of the football

The Pats have plated SD alot so theyve seen alot of cheating. Whether its stickum(SD), spying(NYJ), funneling sound(IND), being head of the rule commitee(Don Shula) or feigning injury(NYG), they dont cry about it. Learn about football before u type in something stupid u piece of trash

So…he doesn’t know if intentionally and blatantly(and repeatedly?) breaking the rules is cheating but he has seen a lot of cheating. How egregious must the cheating be for him to consider it cheating?

Let’s get this straight. The Patriots are the only team to cheat in the history of the NFL.

Despite the fact that most fans are too stupid to know that the Matt Walsh video never existed, there is no question that in 2007 they broke a 2006 rule that allows signal taping from the stands, but not the sidelines.

Thus, by logic that Patriots fans seem unable to understand, by breaking a 2006 rule in 2007, their 2001, 2003, and 2004 Super Bowls are invalid.

No, the rule didn’t exist then, but ignorance of a rule not yet made is no excuse. Every other fan of every other team gets this. Why can’t Patriots fans understand it too?
