And you’re wrong that they are the only team to cheat….. there’s this little brouhaha in New Orleans concerning bounties paid to deliberately injure opponents ….. maybe you’ve heard of it?

You know, when this story first broke, there were multiple Charger’s fans saying that, unlike the Saints, the Chargers would show the class to be honest and cooperate fully. Now that the denials have started by the organization, I’m sure you’ll become all too familiar with people presuming you’re guilty based on evidence of a sticky towel (or in the Saints’ case, a disgruntled ex employee). You’ll keep telling people that the evidence is weak, the details are sketchy, most of it seems made up or coerced. The league will keep changing the story, and you’ll keep saying “This isn’t right”, but it won’t matter. You,too, are now “cheaters”. Welcome to the club.

Get ready Chargers Lord Godell will blow this up and ruin your franchise as well. I am sorry after the shenanigans the NFL pulled with the “bounty” investigation I don’t believe anything the NFL says. I am sure lord almighty and self anointed protector of the shield will overreact to the testimony of disgruntled ex-employees, division rivals, gun point affidavits, and anyone else with an ax to grind and turn this into a national security issue. An equipment manager actually doing his job and taking care of the equipment will have his life ruined. It’s just how they roll no proof needed heck it could be as bad as the Redskins/Cowboys situation and your team can even be punished for following the rules and treating an uncapped year as an uncapped year. Then again it could be like the Steelers and he might just keep fining your players week in and week out for you know just doing their jobs. You never know what your going to get when Lord Goddel gets involved.

Seriously all venting aside why would anyone use stick-em anyway the gloves WR’s use today practically stick to the ball anyway. All this is, is hopefully just some more rope for Godell to hang himself with.

Norv does not appear to be the type of coach who would allow such a thing, I think he would adhere to his principles, even if gets stuck with the accusation.
I for one will stick with the Chargers even though my friends are becoming unglued
and shall remain glued to my tv this coming Sunday.

Norv said they were using Gorilla Gold Golf Grip Enhancer Towels… The website says “Dissipates quickly, so it doesn’t leave a lingering sticky feel” so it doesn’t fall under the Lester Hayes rule.

Receiver-wise, Floyd is the only Charger that has a good amount of catches & yards…the rest of the team couldn’t catch a cold, including Gates. He’s a silly number of drops this year and isn’t helping my fantasy team at all. If their CB’s are using then it’s not helping them either. Through 7wks, Chargers secondary has dropped 12 balls that should’ve been caught for interceptions. Idiots.
