The guy was just making a play. This is football, not flag football. So as he is chasing the QB he is suppose to be thinking how to take the QB down without hurting the QB and himself? Wow, it was unfortunately how Cutler landed but I see nothing wrong with the tackle. But hey if you are soft then it will reflect in your comments.

the point here is Ndamukong tried to hurt Cutler.. GAME SAFTY is what Goodell claims to be all about so … just by looking at that play you know Suh was trying to hurt Cutler. If they dont get him now the next thing that happen no matter how small hes DONE

You guys have all turned soft. If you have a chance to make a HARD CLEAN hit on the QB you take it. It is his job to hit that guy as hard as he can and if possible wear him out or remove him from the game. From the comments here it sounds like you would prefer flag football.

OK, how many Bears fans feel that Julius Pepper driving Matt Stafford into the ground onto his throwing shoulder three seasons ago was a dirty hit? Nobody spoke about that, nobody said a word, but it falls under EXACTLY the same category. It was a clean hit, but an aggressive hit by a talented player.

Nothing more to say, nothing more to see here. Move on.

the hit wasnt dirty. mean? yes. violent? yes. dirty? not even close. unecessary? debatable, but in my opinion not at all. he’s a d-lineman who got to take a hard shot at the qb…legally, and within the rules.
just because some people want the game to be softer, kinder, gentler, doesnt mean every hard hit needs to be totally removed from the game. it certainly doesnt make every hard hit dirty. it’s a tough, physical game played by tough, physical people. bottom line is that it’s not for everybody and it really bugs me that we’re trying to water it down to make it for everybody. there are people who play and like it, and there are also people who would never play but like it nonetheless. there’s nothing wrong with being in either camp, just know which side you’re on and let the players play.

You guys need to read before you post. Marshall said he has LEARNED to act with character. Meaning he knows his past has been much less than acceptable behavior. He now has a diagnosis and is dealing with his disorder and being a huge advocate for others who have the same disorder. So since he had been in Chicago he has practiced what he preaches, so until he shows otherwise he deserves the benefit of the doubt.

This part of the play took all of 2 or 3 seconds at most. You actually think Suh had anytime to think about tripping (which he didn’t) or injurying Cutler. No way. He was tackling the quarterback plain and simple.

No dog in this hunt, saw the play and was surprised Cutler got up and only missed one play. Was it illegal, don’t know but we’ll find out soon if the NFL think so. The bigger story is that Brandon Marshall is a p_ _ _ _. Taking to twitter to call out N Suh, really? If you’ve got something to say do it on the field to his face! Of course that would be out of “character” for Brandon and wouldn’t be “cool” because N Suh is not a woman, Brandon wouldn’t dare hit him.
