Does the diversion program include classes in developing common sense and responsibility? If not, Fairley will be back for a probation violation in a year.

It is a very light sentence indeed. In my county,a first offense is a 1500.00 dollar fine,one years license suspension and the charge stays on your record for 5 years. A 2nd offense is 5 Grand,3 years license suspension plus another 5 years. A 3rd offense is 10 years in the state pen with permanent license revocation.

Fwiw, I enjoy a good drink like most everyone,but when I go out to do it, I either have a designated driver or call a cab if a DD is unavailable. Heck, some Cab companies here offer free ride homes if someone is too drunk to drive. You can pay them later,or in some cases the fee is reimbursed by the county. Bottom Line-there is no reason to get behind the wheel if you’ve been drinking whatsoever.

Bingo!!!! You beat me to it. The Lions will never win anything under HC Jim Schwartz Imo. The team is too undisciplined and that is on the Head Coach. After Suh Stomped that Packer on Thanksgiving day, He should have been pulled off the field and suspended one game. As Jimmy Johnson said after the game. You either condemn it or condone it. Schwartz condones way too much bad behavior.

Just heard an ad on the radio today about the penalties (in my state) for buzzed driving, as well as the massive legal fees. $600 is a drop in the bucket, Nick, pay the man and go your way.
