Gabbert will play, unless doctors block it

Like Ravens safety Ed Reed, Jaguars quarterback Blaine Gabbert has a torn labrum in his shoulder. Like Reed, Gabbert wants to play.

Unlike Reed, Gabbert may not be able to.

A source with knowledge of the situation tells PFT that Gabbert wants to play with the injury in his non-throwing shoulder, and that he plans to do so unless the doctors prevent it.

If Gabbert can’t go, Chad Henne would get the start against the Packers at Lambeau Field.

That’s the Packers. At Lambeau Field.

We admire Gabbert’s willingness to play with an injury. But it’s the Packers. At Lambeau Field.
