The Panthers interim brain trust isn’t expected to make many roster moves, and the ones they make are likely to be exactly like the one they made today.

To fill the roster spot created when cornerback Chris Gamble was placed on injured reserve, they claimed linebacker Doug Hogue off waivers from the Lions.

Hogue’s primarily a special teamer, who will fill the role from last week’s IR listing of linebacker Kenny Onatolu. The Panthers aren’t expected to make many major roster changes until they replace general manager Marty Hurney, who was fired Monday.
