They didn’t say it as if the broncos were going to the superbowl, it’s a matter if they did. Doesn’t matter if it was the browns, jags, chiefs or panthers, same rules would apply to the situation and we all know they’re not going to the superbowl.

Yep, just because they overpaid for MegaHead they are going to the big show. Correct me if I’m wrong, but I don’t think he has guided a team to every SuperBowl since he’s been in the league.

You may not believe this, but if you have an attorney and you present it properly, you’d be surprised about how a judge would work around it for you/your circumstances – i.e., traveling for job. As long as it is legit and presented properly. It’s common in Pinellas county FL

Not only did the judge take the Super Bowl into consideration, “but the judge said he took the NFL’s punishment into account when handing down his sentence.”

Does that work for non-celebrities too? A lighter sentence in court because your employer gave you a three week suspension?

I agree with you, why should Williams be treated any different because he’s a football player. That’s nice that the judge said wait till after the Super bowl. Who said Denver were going anyway, what a joke this is. Can we all get the same consideration?? Of course not.

Seems like Williams is getting hit harder than other repeated offenders but hey, he made his bed now he has to lay in it. Even whenever he come back from suspension, unless he’s been staying in football form, Williams still wont be an immediate impact for the broncos for at least 3 weeks. I hope he’d learned from his mistakes and see that its not worth missing out on playing the game you love, not to mention the millions of dollars lost already. Broncos safe headed towards the right direction and if you want to be part of something positive, welcome aboard, if not, astalavista baby!

This guy is an embarrassment to the Broncos at this point. That being said, there’s no effin way he’s not in the starting lineup when his suspension is done. Pretty sure (too lazy to look it up right now) he’s been the team’s leading tackler the last couple seasons.
