No replacing Lee but Orie Lemon had a nice preseason and is the better choice IMO. Connor has been solid against the run but couldn’t cover Rob Ryan on a pass route.

Another fine first round draft choice from Matt Millen. I hope this opportunity works out for him, because the next stop is either Canada or the arena leagues.

He was supposed to be the next ray Lewis
comming out of FSU in 2006 I had him rated
as a 4th or 5th sepcial team’s type of player.

Without Lee, playoff chances are cooked. So disappointing, he’s a gamer, but gets nicked with those stupid injuries. Like a big toe ligament, and the wrist last year.

I’m just so down and out feeling with this team. For years they score 30pts like it’s nothing, finally get a nice Defense, and we can’t find the endzone. Maybe I’m wrong and Bruce Carter will step up, but Lee is just a PSU LB thru and thru and will be sorely missed.

It isn’t like the guy is going to play. That’s why they brought in Connor. He and Carter will start with Lemon backing them up. If Sims sees the field, it will be on ST.

Ernie Sims is a complete liability on defense (I was expecting a “Cowboys to (over)pursue Ernie Sims”-like title here), but he always has had the profile of a good ST guy, if he ever decides to buy in there.
