HAHA! Way to stick it to ‘em!
It’s funny how many people go out of their way to comment on Saints stories, it’s like they’re obsessed.
If you’re tired of hearing about something you can usually avoid it pretty easily, just don’t click.

The people who are complaining about hearing more bounty news are the same people who say how much they hate their ex-girlfriend yet they find any little reason to get mad at her and contact her.

Dude just get over it and pay attention to your own life and don’t give me this garbage like you won’t visit New Orleans because of the bounty “scandal” because that’s just weak, we all know you can’t afford the plane ticket.

I can confirm that shirt is legitimate as I was one of the members in attendance. He had it under a Saints jersey and he showed it to us prior to going into the room to meet Commissioner Goodell.

To whoever, Benson is fighting this. He has had multiple face to face meetings with the commissioner. He can’t put a dog in the fight until the appeals and court hearings are done.

Someone said something about honor and Goodell. If you truly felt like you didnt do something and were being wrongfully accused with your name and earning power being damaged forever, you’d just sit and take it? So it seems like honor only works for you when you want it to, cool.

It rolls off the tongue really easy for people on here to say what they’d do and how they feel, when these guys can lose as much money as most of the people who post here make in a decade. But yeah, let’s just believe Roger, even though his two key witnesses can’t even agree on what happened… Right.

I really just wanted to comment on the photo…which is pretty funny BTW, but this ongoing discussion of the bounty scandal just won’t go away. Nobody is going to be swayed this late in the game guys so calling people “stupid” or the ever-so popular “hater” is a waste of time.

Everybody remember the other big “scandal” of the offseason? That whole salary cap violation thing against Dallas and Washington? Good…okay. Remember when Jerrah and Snyder sat on their hands and didn’t fight it? You don’t? Ohhhh thats because they fought something they felt was unjust. Where is Benson? Is HE fighting this great injustice against his team? NOPE. Case closed.

Look guys…. loyalty is a trait I admire and I would never suggest abandoning your team, but you should let this thing go….afterall…your owner did a long time ago.

I never had a desire to go to New Orleans before this scandal went public. After watching the actions/reactions of the players and fans – I have even less of a desire to visit the area.

It’s amazing. Everyone continues to miss the point.
“Bountygate” is not about incentives to injure another player any more than Michael Vick was about being humane to animals.
It’s about the money–and where the money came from.
If Michael Vick had been AT a dogfight, he might’ve been slapped on the wrist and suggested to keep a lower profile. The fact that he was bankrolling gambling on dogfights was his crime.
If the money for the “bounties” had come strictly from the players, it would not have been such a big issue. The fact that money came from an outside source (Mike Ornstein, twice convicted for crimes against the NFL) was the problem.

Are we that stupid to not notice such a program while it was happening? Wouldn’t such a thing be BLATANTLY OBVIOUS to every single person watching the games?

And yet, statistics show us that the Saints injured the second least amount of players in this time frame.

W….T…..F…… some of you guys just gulp down whatever the NFL tells you happened. It’s mind boggling how some people still believe this **** that Goodell is trying to sell on the eve of a multi billion dollar pending lawsuit.

What I am mad about is how poorly this whole thing was handled… this clearly happened but no coherent evidence was released… the suspensions given to players were struck down by court… commis should be fired for incompetence… and they need to make examples of people involved in that bounty scandal…
i hate that players like brees act in the media that saints are being persecuted for nothing… provide evidence and screw them…

What do you not understand about this. No pay-to-injure program has ever existed in the NFL. It is impossible to go out and try to injure someone. If someone did injure someone on purpose it would be extremely obvious.
