Good point but The Hawks have played good D EVETYWHERE ask Newton, Bradford, and or skelton/Kolb. The Hawks have self imploded on the road and lost bc of that but also have shut down QBS in ALL GAMES except Brady but they just gave up yards to him really. JS

none of those QBs played the hawks at home where they are an aveg team.. yes, the hawks have a good D; when they play in their own home field. we’ll see what Smith does when the niners play them up in seattle.. i highly doubt he’ll do as good as any of those QBs u mentioned.

Alex constantly checks the ball down without letting the deep play develop. He never throws the football vertically and once the opponents take the short passes away, he struggles.

Wow. My comments keep getting deleted maybe because they’re too true and the language too vividly expresses that truth? I’ll soften it up. Again.

Why would Smith have any confidence? Hairbough threw Smith under the bus by clearly chasing after Manning with the intension of signing him as the 49ers quarterback. Hairbough’s erratic sideline behaviour also raises questions regarding his stability as well. I wonder how anyone can play for Hairbough given that some might say he lacks integrity.

OF course his confidence is the same.. he hasnt changed one bit! same Alex smith of every year just with a better team that wins games for him. Lets face it, all those wins have not been because of him.. and the loses.. he did nothing to even make the game close.. when the D has a bad day.. alex cant carry the team.. Alex smith apologist can thumb me down all they want.. but it is the truth.. this team deserves better.
