^this dude gets it, idk if were gonna lose any of our first three backs, but as the season wears on, those guys are at least gonna need a week or two off. one way or another if we keep ivory hes gonna get his shot to come in and rack up carries. once he gets rolling you give that man his carries and hes gonna set you up for long drives.
but i still say pierre and sproles are obviously the two we gotta have. and i still have faith in ingram, ivory is a trump card not a luxury.

I think the Bengals could really use him, and he probably could be had for a 6th rd pick. He’s a good young rb and he is buried on the depth chart on a pass happy team.

First off Ingram is not a bust. He’s not being used correctly. The only time he enter the game is on first down.( obvious run down), and they only run him up the middle. Easy film study for other teams. And short yard situations which he’s not that. He’s a every down back. If they use Ingram as the lone rb (Jones drew,Peterson,bush,extra.) He will shine. And that’s the exact way they used Ivory in the preseason and #39 out shined him.

Ingram appears to be a bust, and after the horrible start, and lack of running game I cannot understand why they don’t try playing Ivory….and yes I agree on trading Ingram for any type of help on defense that they can get.

Its funny Ivory says he doesn’t get much communication from the Saints. Last I remember Sean Payton is suspended and Mickey Loomis has Strategically been suspended for 8 games, just past the trade deadline. Go figure! You can’t tell me RG didn’t try to sabotage the Saints season.

I don’t see a team giving up what the Saints would need just to lose the injury insurance at RB.

My guess is the best offer would be around a 5th and I just don’t see that getting it done for the Saints.

Saints need draft picks, but Ingram is terrible. They should trade Ingram, keep Ivory, and that would work for everyone.

Ivory might already be playing if he wasn’t fumbling left and right leading up to the start of the season and averaging less than two yards when the rest of the backs were balling. Currently, all the Saints RBs are doing bad. There’s no reason to think Ivory is going to come in and do better.

Ingram should be the one riding the bench not Ivory..I think he will get his chance soon.
