Harbaugh has no clue with this team. He and Cam have screwed this team up for the past three years.

Someone should do a study of Rice’s carry tally and the tally for RBs in general in situational terms.

Naturally RBs will get more carries in games where the team is ahead. The name of the game is running the clock. My suspicion is that a sizable chunk of the carries come because the game is more-or-less already won. So it’s a more complicated statistic than simply “they win when he carries 20+ times.” One can easily respond by saying “he carried 20+ times BECAUSE they were winning.”

The same goes vice-versa. Carry totals will be proportionally small for teams that fall behind early in the game and are playing catch-up and playing to conserve time.

Then, ofcourse, you have statistical anomalies like the Jags and MJD, where the passing game sucks so bad that he’ll get 30+ carries regardless of what the scoreboard says. Hence why he demands more money in the offseason for the added wear-and-tear.

Actually I’m a football fan first 757…Don’t let the username fool you. How Cam is still the OC is reminiscent of Matt Cavanagh still having a job until Coach Billick was coming under fire. I’d take Rice over CJ because of his consistency. A Rice favored gameplan will make everyone forget about the Houston game and will be the Second best team in the AFC.

Losing Ray Lewis is going to show up in every game. He has instincts most do not possess. In combo with Reed they could figure out where the ball was going. Reed is hurt, Lewis is gone. Tough loss for any team.

I wonder whose gonna be johns scapegoat this year. Which assistant will get the axe and be the fall guy this year? Haha. Special teams has cost a lot of games for the ravens over the years and that’s johns specialty. When I played college ball my head coach always said ‘I am the face of this team, I get the praise when we win I get the criticism when we lose’. Johns cleared out everyone but the problem. For example. He fired Jim zohrn as qb coach ( a former head coach ) who was doing a great job with flacco and a line coach with 20 years experience coaching high powered offense. They one 13 games that year. The offensive coordinator and head coach are the problem. The run game is there biggest weapon and they dont use it. The leadership from the top down is keeping this team from the Super Bowl.

As a Ravens fan, I like Harbaugh, but it gets pretty tiring that he has this same interview and comments every season. Last year he said it twice following the Jags and Seahawks game and now again this year. I’m a big Flacco fan and think he is a very good QB, but the coaching staff needs to get Ray Rice the ball at a minimum of 20 times a game. Please start doing what you are saying; this offense is at it’s best when it’s balanced.

Not at all surprised to read “steeler” within your username, which is why I didn’t bother reading any of it, because any common fan knows that what you just wrote is full of too much bias within every word you wrote.
Oh, yeah…that 52 on mine does stand for Ray, but you don’t see me saying the steelers were done when your team couldn’t win a road game.

I think the only people who don’t see the correlation between ray rice’s touches and the ravens winning are ravens employees.

But at 5-2 with the browns and raiders coming up they are in good shape. Ten wins probably wins the division or at least gets a wild card.
