Vikings try to make a game of it

Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson celebrates after touchdown against Cardinals Reuters

If the Bucs lose tonight, they will have seen the 17-point lead the Vikings blew against Tampa last year and raised it by three.

Down 30-10 in the third quarter, the Vikings have made things a little more interesting (or, as the case may be, a little less uninteresting) with a 64-yard touchdown run from tailback Adrian Peterson.

The effort puts Peterson over the 100-yard mark for the 30th time in his career, a new franchise record.

It won’t mean anything unless the Vikings can play a little (or any) defense, and erase the existing 13-point gap.

    Trying…

    Jared Allen is dirty.

    The offense is anemic.

    This is just sad.

This team will end up 4th in the division.

I hope the Bucs hang on.

And you’re a troll who sits at home on this website all day!

Glad we got that sorted out.

Man, this game is hard to watch. Defensive lapses, and Peterson and Harvin left to carry the offense by themselves.

Oh, and TokyoAs*Blaster – you just wish Allen was on your team

Tokyoblaster…where ever the hell that means, sounds like a 10 year old’s gamer tag on a video game. Well maybe you are 10 years old, it’s believable with your maturity level.

Surprised you don’t have anything better to do than rag on the Vikings. Must live in the basement, wacking it to friend’s girlfriends because we all know you don’t get any.

Oh yea, I’m sorry. What friends? Hahaha

As a humble Bucs fan, I f’n told you so … We whipped ur asses from whistle to whistle … Jared Allen looks good in blood red … If only the Glazers stepped up and paid him when he left KC … Oh and Donald Penn is an Elite LT … BUT you Vikings fans already knew that. Undrafted. Thanks

    Jared Allen is amazing.

    The offense needs time.

This is just me obsessing about a team I claim to hate.

This team will end up 2nd in the division behind the Bears.

Hey man, thought I’d fix that for ya, have a good night and sweet dreams about your favorite team, the Vikings!

I’m not sure which is better. Watching the Lavender Larrys losing, or seeing the buck-toothed hillbilly goat roper getting punched in the face.

    Good times.

My guess is they’ll finish 3rd, just above the Lions.

    Thetokyo…

How could you blame Jared Allen on that?

Your other three points are right on point though.

  20. Carl Gerbschmidt says: Oct 25, 2012 11:36 PM

    Hey, how’d ponder do?

  21. axespray says: Oct 25, 2012 11:36 PM

Nah… Jared Allen got the same treatment that DJ Smith and Brian Cushing got….

Offense can get away with cheap shots after the whistle every play it seems.

Meanwhile, Clean sacks on the QB gets you a $7500 fine.

  22. Carl Gerbschmidt says: Oct 25, 2012 11:40 PM

Hey vikes how are you gonna feel when you’re tied with the warriors? You getting nervous yet?

  23. tigobitties says: Oct 25, 2012 11:45 PM

Kluwe…. quit tweeting and being a smart ass and start practicing, you know, kicking the ball.

    Preferably farther then 15 yards.

They are who we thought they were. Fools gold if I’ve ever seen it. Go back in hiding Viking fans.

Keep your double chins up Viking fans. This time last year you were working on your mock drafts.

  26. delusionalcardsfan says: Oct 25, 2012 11:51 PM

And the Cards lost to them?!? Oh no! We suck again!!

  27. francheyes says: Oct 25, 2012 11:51 PM

    GET A LIFE!

Stick your finger in your butt, tell yourself that YOU’RE THE MAN, and call it a day. Damn you’re boring.

  28. th56 says: Oct 25, 2012 11:53 PM

Does Kevin Williams still play for the Vikes? Vikings offensive and defensive lines were dominated by the Bucs. The Vikings offensive line has seriously regressed the last three games.

We’re still here, not going anywhere, and hoping for a QB turnaround because that’s all this thing needs.

Not even close. Rodgers getting knocked out of the season has been in the cards for Allen to fulfill his destiny for years now. It’s time, and the dude’s pissed.
