That whole, “the Lions gave the Bears the game” is getting old. They’ve always given us the game. Except that one fateful Monday night.

I can almost guarantee a turnover by Matthew Stafford everytime we play.

O, Jay Cutler is 6-1 as a Bear againt the Lions.

I believe Raiola was referring to Shaun Rogers and James Hall (in terms of those players gone before Schwartz arrived).

After Schwartz arrived, I’m betting CB Brandon McDonald was one of them given that he was cut at a time when the Lions were desperate for CBs last season.

He said “negative teammates.” As in those players like Dre Bly who had negative attitudes towards playing and not excited about trying to win a game.

The negative receivers jaded others. Raiola might not realize that they are still there… KVB’s and Burleson’s attitudes helped… but didn’t save this team.

That Chicago D forced 4 turnovers, plus two fumbles that went out of bounds, and held you scoreless for the first 59 1/2 minutes…If that is indeed one of the ‘better’ offensive displays we allow the rest of the way, I’ll be thrilled.

Besides (insert 1st rd. WR NOT named Megatron HERE), who might he be referring to?

Charlie Rodgers, Mike Williams and Roy Williams are gone… big deal… Those guys haven’t been an issue in the D for at least 2-3 years now. So why is this relevant? Who else?

PS, Raiola hasn’t been very good this year in the limited times I’ve seen him.

Raiola may be fiery and a great teammate, but the truth of the matter is that he’s a 10+ year veteran and he screwed up on the seminal play of the Titans game that, at the very least, caused them a chance to tie…if not win. Small plays like that have the ability to alter the very course of a season.

He may not think of himself as part of the problem, but he is. Schwartz has to finish the job started last year and move on from the past regime.
