If things are going well, sometimes it’s best to not mess with them.

So since the Packers haven’t had an issue on kicks and punts in the five years Brett Goode has been their long snapper, they’re going to hang onto him.

Goode signed a three-year contract extension nearly two weeks ago, but didn’t announce the deal, which was reported by Rob Demovsky of the Green Bay Press-Gazette.

Goode got a $325,000 signing bonus, and is now under contract through 2015. Punter Tim Masthay and kicker Mason Crosby are also under contract through 2015, keeping the operation stable.
