APThe Jaguars are confident quarterback Blaine Gabbert’s going to be OK to play with an injured left shoulder, listing him as probable for tomorrow’s game at Green Bay.
But they’re giving themselves a little cover, regardless.
The Jags announced they promoted John Parker Wilson from the practice squad, giving them a third behind Gabbert and backup Chad Henne.
Wilson spent parts of three years with the Falcons, so he has background with Jags coach Mike Mularkey from his days as the offensive coordinator.
The Jaguars also activated defensive end John Chick from the physically unable to perform list, and released tackle Herb Taylor and linebacker Brandon Marshall.

Dang!!! I thought it’d be Tebow.
Just keep the seat warm until Matt Barkley gets there next year.
Yet another Gene Smith draft pick (Marshall) getting let go. Hopefully it won’t too much longer before Gene Smith is the one being let go.
they have completely wasted blackmon…
