Williams is NEVER going to get traded. No one is going to give us anything for that monster contract, especially because everyone knows we're desparate and have no leverage.

Williams, CJ, Beason and Stewart have contracts that no one will touch (with good reason) and we are going to be in salary cap hell for 5 years. CJ wants to play for the Falcons, and once Hurney found that out he gave CJ double what he would have got from Atlanta on the open market. Williams, Beason and Stewart were way overpaid because "we build through the draft and reward our core players" (translation: We so rarely draft any actual NFL players in the draft, we have to way overpay them to keep them from leaving for an organization with a clue).

It's going to take a long time for us to get out of this mess. The Panthers are now the Cubs of the NFL. Add in that the Bobcats are the Cubs of the NBA, and, if they ever play again, the Hurricanes are the NHL's ultimate under-achievers, and there is no joy in Carolina.

Coaching error is the reason the Memphis Maniac has had a decline in yards. He is the best RB on the team. His big contract didn't make him lose the ability to run and make plays. He isn't injury prone like Stewart. However, as Stupid as my freaking panthers are, I am sure they will send him packing and keep the pathetic coaches in the office. The Panthers really piss me off. Thanks for winning less games than anyone else in the last 3 years guys. They would be doing Williams a favor by trading him... the best RB in team history. Good luck Williams.

As a Panthers fan I would hate to lose D-Will, his lack of production is a coaching error that has nothing to do with talent. I hope they don't trade him at all and the inevitable new coaching staff can make better use of him next season.
