Clyde Gates had a solid game from start to finish and that includes a couple good kick returns so I dk what ^^^ that’s all about, he was the only only one who showed up for the game on the Jets side hah. And yeah loud mouth Jets fans are quiet now, for good reason. But I won’t sit here and listen to a bunch of loud mouth dolphins fans who haven’t seen a playoff win in well over a decade try to act like you’re so much better than us. All I have to point to is the fact that in Rex’s first season the Jets started 4-6 with people saying much worse things than they are now and, low and behold, they ended up playing in Indianapolis on championship Sunday. There’s still a lot of football left to be played in this division.. Congrats on the season split with the Jets fins fans, but it isn’t “OVAH” yet…

Is it me or was Clyde Gates acting like he was the man today??? Gates was talking trash because he had a few catches against the people(Carrol and Wilson) he went against every day in practice while the Fins were in a PREVENT defense most of the 4th qtr. Some one please tell this clown named Gates to go sit down somewhere. FINSup!!!!!!!!!!

interesting things came out today:

- Moore is very capable of starting

- The Jets are a disaster in literally all phases of the game… the Phins D literally stopped playing the entire 4th Q and the Jets only put up 6.

- Sanchez deserves a benching, but they don’t have a backup

- The Dolphins have a fearsome D line

- if the Phins keep improving at this rate (a big if), they are a legitimate contender

A good start for the Dolphins, but I’ll take it with a grain of salt. We looked good in 2008 as well, the last time we played a very weak schedule. And we have yet to beat a team with a winning record. Next year will be the true test, and unfortunately we may still have Jeff Ireland as GM.

What I don’t get are all the Sanchez apologists. The guy had been given enough time. The jets will not win with mark Sanchez. Blame the receivers, blame the o line all you want. Sanchez is throwing bad picks and losing fumbles. Guy is a bum, time to admit it and move on.

Matt Moore’s ability to step in and get the job done with a minute’s notice is becoming a trend. His value as a supportive backup, quality player and able stand in on the fly is worth more to the Fins than the maybe?4th rounder they could get for him.

I say keep Matt Moore, in fact extend him if he’s willing to stick around as a backup. Guy seemed to be looking for stability on HBO so maybe he embraces this role longterm.

Jeff Ireland is gaining some job security and Philbin is really a fun watch. The onsides kick makes you want to watch every play as well as the blocks.
