What a painful game. Two positives: Bruce Carter is a man; Ratliff is the emotional leader we’ve been looking for for years. Get Rat in Dez’s face the same way Irvin got in everyone’s face. The defense was stellar. The offense was…well, offensive. And special teams played like Special Olympians.

It was ugly & the Giants played like crap. However, their crap stunk less than the Cowboys’ crap. Talk all you want about them being lucky; as a Giants fan I will admit they got extremely lucky. Nevertheless, a lucky win doesn’t count any less in their record than the few dominating wins they’ve had this year. Making things better is the fact that it was a “lucky” divisional win, squaring up their division record at 2-2, giving the G-Men a 2.5 game lead in the division, clearly in control. The Redskins are done at 3-5 with that horrendous defense & 0-1 record v. The Giants; the Eagles are unraveling once again & are about to go with a rookie QB the rest of the way; and the Cowboys are once again under .500, lost their tiebreaker to the Giants, also are on the losing end of the tiebreaker with the Eagles, and they lost an All Pro LB for the year (they’re done). The Giants pretty much “luckily” wrapped up the NFC East today & their week 15 matchup against the Falcons could very well be for the #1 seed in the NFC. As each week goes by, this year is looking more & more like another “Super” season, albeit a “lucky” Super season.

Being a GIANTS fan is the most stressful thing imaginable. I am a fan of various other teams in other sports, but nothing even comes close to this kind of stuff… I assure the fans of any other team that the GIANTS may indeed be lucky, but their fans earn every single win.

how come tom coughlin and kevin gilbride get crucified every few weeks or so yet perry fewell NEVER gets an ounce of criticism? his defensive philosophy is atrocious. let’s not forget he was in buffalo a few seasons, was their dc, and interim head coach, yet in the ensuing vacancy the bills interviewed another minority and refused to interview fewell for the post he was holding at the time. that tells me all i need to know about this guy.

When Tony Romo starts off any game looking shaky, the result of the game always seems to be doom and gloom for America’s Team. When he is on early, Dallas wins. The Giants are 4-0 against the Cowboys in Jerruh’s Palace, despite being very beatable today. America’s Team is never going to the Super Bowl as long as Jones thinks he is a general manager and Romo is their signal-caller.

Aside from that, look out now. G Men are 6-2 and after today’s ugly win, Tommy will throw a few sh*t fits this week and slap these guys silly.

Giants have a tendency to get stronger at the end, so does Eli. I wouldn’t exactly count them out of a possible repeat of last year.

The Cowboys deserve credit for stopping the Giants from doing what they wanted to do on offense, the Giants defense deserves credit for taking advantage of opportunities with the Turnovers… Eli can’t win every single game, but I’ll tell you want he got us in position kick the go ahead FG and if not for some drops maybe we get more done on offense. The Giants lead the NFL in turnovers forced for a REASON. And those were all takeaways today (minus the last one), so don’t get it twisted thinking “Dallas screwed up on a play” here and there and the Giants “got lucky”.

I love how non-Giants fans come in this specific blog and talk about Giants luck and, like a sore loser above said, it just being “laughable.”

Seems like there are more “haters” posting on Giants stories than their teams loss. That was an ugly game, one that the Giants definitely did not look good. But guess what, they just did enough to pull one out. The Giants, for a long time, has been known to get ugly wins. And this is just one of them.

What’s really laughable is how haters will just continue to hate because as their team, specifically the Skins, Philly and Cowboys, slide into another losing season, they just won’t be able to stand the Giants and their ugly wins more and more. Hahaha…. Enjoy it losers!!!

While the Cowboys probably should have won that game in the end. I’ll take actual victories over moral victories. The Giants are 6-2 and leading the NFC East with a rather comfortable margin, that’s all that matters to me right now.

Giants had a bad day on offense. Lots of dropped passes, Bradshaw and the O-Line didn’t assert themselves until the 4th Quarter, settled too many times for FGs…

And they still won. How scary will this team be when they put it together? And you know where you can put your “lucky Giants” nonsense. Good plays made those turnovers.
