The root of the Eagles problem is not Michael Vick. His mobility masks the bigger problem, which is a patched together O-line. It’s hard to be an effective QB when you’re running for your life. I dont see Foles faring much better behind that same O-line.

I find this quite humorous.

It wasn’t so long ago that Philly fans were clamoring for Donovan McNabb to be run out of town. They must have figured they were entitled to go to the NFC Championship game every year, and that even greener pastures lay ahead.

Vick is a decent, viable NFL backup QB. He’s not a starter in this league, hasn’t been really for years.

Did some of you actually watch the game today? Sure, Vick and the offense could have played better, but the reason they lost was that their defense couldn’t stop Atlanta AT ALL! And remember, before the bye, Philly’s defense blew two consecutive fourth quarter leads. It’s just absurd to think that benching Vick will solve their problems….

To much bad juju for Vick to ever succeed. Karma is a biatch. Reid shouldve been canned 5 yrs ago. If not for his horrible game management, and late game play calls the Eagles would’ve had at least another Super Bowl appearence with McNabb. If the Pats didn’t cheat and no Reid they couldve had a trophy.

How can you guys keep blaming Vick he just playing with what he got, he has no Oline and just garbage of a line. The D got destoyed made Ryan look like the second coming of marino, But lets blame the QB lol he dont block or play defense when they do make that change to foles he will get killed just like kolb then what are you so call eagles fan going to ask for. Of course you are going to regress with a line like he has and did i mention he dont call the plays

You can bench Vick, and Nick Foles isn’t going to do much better. The offensive line is a disaster. The Eagles don’t seem to have a strategy on either side of the ball. Although McCoy gets a great deal of activity, it doesn’t seem to be optimized.

I think Reid is more of the problem right now.

This game boiled down to the inability of the defense to get to Ryan. With enough time, who couldn’t throw to Jones, White and Gonzalez? Doug Pederson could do it. A team with a pass rush could beat these guys. As to what’s wrong with Vick – how about no Jason Peters and his third or fourth center?

I question the coaching that Vick is receiving. He spent 3 years in prison, and when he got his shot he lit up every defense he faced. Now 2 years later, or is it 3, I lost track, he has regressed to the point you would have expected him to be when he got out of jail, I dont understand it
