The debut of running back Brandon Jacobs as a member of the 49ers will have to wait at least another week.

Jacobs, who has yet to play this year due to a preseason knee injury, is inactive for tonight’s game between San Francisco and Arizona, even though he was not listed on the injury report.

Also inactive are quarterback Scott Tolzein, first-round rookie receiver A.J. Jenkins, second-round running back LaMichael James, fourth-round rookie guard Joe Looney, sixth-round rookie safety Trenton Robinson, and defensive tackle Ian Williams.

Scratched for the Cardinals are quarterback Kevin Kolb (rib), tight end Todd Heap (knee), receiver LaRon Byrd, guard Senio Kelemete, guard Adam Snyder, cornerback Greg Toler, and linebacker Jamaal Westerman.
