I think what I fear most is replacing Turner and Smith with even more inept staff… As hard as that may be… Spanos is a cheapo though, not sure he’ll care about doing what it takes to win.

I don’t know. They went from 13-3 to 9-7 to 8-8 to this. Smith should catch some blame, but he didn’t call that end-around Sunday. The Chargers didn’t score a single fourth quarter point all month. That’s on the coach.

God people really need to stop blaming Norv Turner for this team’s problems. They have consistently made it to the playoffs sans 2 years under his coaching and have been the power house in the AFC West. It’s not Norv Turner’s fault the AJ Smith ran LT and Vincent Jackson out of town and it’s sure as heck not his fault that Marcus McNeill and Kris Deilman were forced into retirement due to injuries completely decimating the offensive line. AJ Smith is the one that needs to go, he is the one who has burned bridges and ruined this team… oh and he’s also the one who spent a #1 pick on a RB who can’t hold onto the ball or stay healthy.

I’m no “Fairweather” fan, as I’ve been a Chargers fan for over 25 years now…. I’ll stick with them even if Norv Turner is still the HC…

But I was sad when I read the Headline and realized that he is still, in fact, our HC…

Please fire him already. Let’s try and turn this season around and get ourselves set up for next year while we’re at it. Make your Fans happy, and fire him.

@r8rh8r- The ONLY reason why the chargers won that week 1 was the RAIDERS having to use their #3 MLB as a long snapper.

It will be sorted in Week 17 when your bolts are well out of the picture.

Chris Carr as the backup KR just goes to show how poor this roster is. There aren’t any explosive athletes on this team. Good job with that, AJ. Anyone remember two seasons ago when they had Jacob Hester returning kicks for a game or two? That’s not the Hester you want returning kicks.

And Weddle as a PR is just as bad. He’s not a natural punt fielder…he’s trying to catch it on his chest, rather than catching with his hands and pulling it into his chest.

Bottom line, Fire Norv; Fire AJ.

As usual? The usual historically is the Chargers getting beat by the Raiders…ANNUALLY. But that being said, the Chargers racked up a whopping 6 points against the vaunted Superbowl contending Cleveland Browns.

Charger receivers not able to hold on the ball without a stickum towel, a QB that is turnover prone, and a dead man walking lame duck head coach. Who’s more the faider?
