The Packers got more than a game from the Jaguars than bookmakers and many observers expected on Sunday, but they were able to finally close the door on a 24-15 victory.

After such games, you’ll often hear players say that there’s no such thing as an ugly win and that the Jaguars were a good team that played well. Tight end Jermichael Finley isn’t one for such platitudes. He said after the game that the Packers played down to the Jaguars’ level in a game that they should have won more easily.

“It’s not ugly, it’s nasty. It’s a real nasty win. We need to come out and put teams like this away,” Finley said, via Paul Imig of FoxSportsWisconsin.com. “Of course it’s disappointing. With the ability we got and with the guys we got on this team, it kills us. If the defense is looking at us, that’s why they’re mad at us if we go three-and-out, because they know what we can do. And we’re pissed off at them when teams like Jacksonville drive the ball down the field.”

Finley went on to say that the team isn’t doing a good enough job of protecting Aaron Rodgers. He said that when Rodgers is “on his back several times, it distracts him” and that injuries at wideout wouldn’t be an issue if Rodgers was able to remain upright.

While Finley says he isn’t pointing any fingers, some members of the team might disagree. They might even have some thoughts about Finley’s work this season. He had two catches Sunday to continue an underwhelming season for someone expected to be a more productive part of the offense.
