Jags bid farewell to John Parker Wilson

The John Parker Wilson era was a short one in Jacksonville.

The Jags have announced that Wilson has been waived, along with running back Keith Toston.  The Jags also announced that they have signed veteran guard Steve Vallos and rookie linebacker Brandon Marshall.

Marshall, a fifth-round pick of the Jaguars in April, was waived on Saturday after appearing in four games this season.

The Jaguars have not said anything about the trade that reportedly sent receiver Mike Thomas from one ferocious feline franchise to another.

Well if Thomas went to Detroit, bet on the Jags opponent the following week signing Wilson for a week long “tryout”.
