PFT Live: Eagles talk with Tim McManus, the coaching hot seat

Philadelphia Eagles head coach Reid gestures to his team during a loss to the Atlanta Falcons during their NFL football game in Philadelphia Reuters

Eagles coach Andy Reid said Wednesday that Michael Vick will remain the team’s starting quarterback this week, a decision that will likely be met with a mixed response in Philadelphia.

Tim McManus of PhillyMag.com and 97.5 The Fanatic will join Mike Florio to talk about Reid’s choice and how he believes it will play out against the Saints on Monday night. At 3-4, the Eagles really can’t afford too many more losses before playoff chances go overboard and switching to Nick Foles will be nothing but setting the plate for the next Eagles coach.

Florio will also take his weekly look at the coaching hot seat. Reid’s sure to be one of the guys taking up space on that list and we’ll see who else Florio thinks might be in trouble as we move into the second half of the league’s schedule.

You can watch it all live at noon ET.

Lets have better play calling, HAND the ball to McCoy.
Why do you guys spend so much time at studying films, when the play calling is pop warner crap?

Andy’s made enough money for a few lifetimes. It’s time he step aside and spend some time with family.
