Th eonly thing Maualuga leads is in fights–with cops and young women. Fiery reputation, catchy name, well acquainted with local law enforcement, can’t play. Makes him a perfect Bengal.

BTW, as others have pointed out, the Bagels are on a three-game LOSING streak. Miami at home, at Cleveland, Pittsburgh at home. Now the Denver Broncos–excuse me, the Denver Peytons–come to town.

I give credit to Marvin Lewis for being one of the greatest coaches of all time. He’s worked for a terrible franchise for 9 years and only has 3 losing seasons. Little do they know, these players are working under a Vince Lombardi type legend.

Undrafted free agent Burfict was telling Rey where to line up last week. There’s no hope for that kid and Lewis calling him the leader of this defense is a joke. Of course Lewis still being the coach is a joke as well.

The defense is a mess, the quantity over quality DB’s are going to kill the team. The starting middle line backer still has no idea what he’s doing. Zimmer hasn’t done this year what he has in the past, maybe it’s personnel, but it’s just not working anymore.

As for Dalton, he showed me plenty last week when he refused post game interviews from one of the biggest Bengal Homers you can find. He needs an attitude adjustment, step up and say “i sucked and i will get better”. Then behind closed doors tell your team they all sucked and they all need to get better.

PS. Money is not getting in the way of Taylor Mays playing for the Bengals. Taylor Mays’ play is getting in the way of him playing. The human missile is garbage in coverage and a liability to his own teammates safety. You can’t play safety with your head down, launching yourself into anyone and everyone.

Stay out the way of the offense. Let Jay Gruden do his thing. If its not in Dalton to be a fiery leader you can’t force if on him. He’ll come off as a phony.

Move Hue Jackson from DB coach to QBs coach and good things should start happening…IMHO.

You can’t be something you’re not. Anything that Dalton would say now that would be construed as “vocal and fiery” would sound phony.

I’m a big Badger fan and gained much respect for Dalton in the 2011 Rose bowl when he was at TCU.

The Bengals have won 3 in a row. Don’t screw it up, Marvin.

Perhaps Marvin Lewis should have challenged his superiors to sign a quality running back and a #2 option for Dalton in the passing game.
