APThe Chargers are down a starting receiver and the Chiefs are down a starting cornerback when the teams meet on Thursday Night Football.
Chargers receiver Robert Meachem is inactive, as is Chiefs cornerback Stanford Routt. Both players were listed as questionable with hamstring injuries.
Another Chargers receiver, Eddie Royal, is also inactive. That means the Chargers have just three receivers active: Malcom Floyd and two guys who signed within the last eight days, Danario Alexander and Seyi Ajirotutu.
The Chargers’ other inactives are Chris Carr, Brandon Taylor, Larry English, Jonas Mouton and Ladarius Green.
The Chiefs’ other inactives are Brady Quinn, Devon Wylie, Nate Eachus, Bryan Kehl, Bryan Mattison and Jerrell Powe.

Routt inactive? Bad news for the Chargers.
So, is a “hamstring injury” (for Routt) code for “permanent tampon dislodgement” after the beatdown by all the Raiders receivers last Sunday? LOL
