Sanders’ dirty hit was overlooked, but as usual, the Steelers don’t get called for it. Hall’s treatment of the ref is not really that defensible, but to overlook what Sanders did and the ref giving it back to Hall just as badly as Hall was giving it is a bit disingenuous.

I’m a Redskins fan and I completely agree with your assessment of Hall as a player. He used to be a decent corner, but age and probably scheme have made him highly suspect. That being said, everything else you said is incorrect. His teammates love him. The local media loves him. And he’s actually a good guy. I’ve run into him a couple times around town and he was always gracious and kind. Yes, he’s a bit of a hot head, and yes he talks a bit too much, but he’s not an “awful human.” You couldn’t possibly know that anyway.

That being said, he must have made a pretty good case to Goodell to not get a suspension. Goodell made it pretty clear that he was leaning towards a suspension. Hall said other camera angles would show the referee being equally as disorderly, and I guess he was right.

So wait……….. Hall was playing against a DB? I don’t get it. I was watching the play, and Hall was playing on the defensive side of the ball against a WR, but maybe this guy saw it differently?? ANyone else see it like this guy did?
Hall is terrible. He is terrible in coverage, he is terrible in the locker room, he is a terrible leader, and mostly he is a terrible human. Listen/read his interviews. He only concentrates on Meangelo. I can not wait until this guy is out of DC. His contract could not be over sooner. I wish goodell had suspended him. Hall is awful.
