Why is it I invision AEG building a stadium, with no team, and then turn around and sue the NFL for not moving a team there. They want ownership of said team as well right? This could get real ugly folks.

Hello Los Angeles Rams. If the St. Louis CVC does not get a favorable arbitration ruling next month I’d expect a buyout and the Rams back in LA next year. Playing in Farmer Field in the nation’s second largest media market is too good an opportunity to pass up.

Saw the whole "Bad Team => No Fans => Justification for Relocation" scheme play out with the Rams the first time around. I suspect that if the Chargers do wind up in L.A., the Spanos family will discover in short order that they have overestimated a) the number of Charger fans in this area, and b) the number of San Diego fans that will continue to support the team. I don't think I could embrace the Chargers as my Home Team; I like San Diego too much. Never been to St. Louis, though.
