Peyton Manning may dispute the “He’s back” narrative, but it’s hard to argue with the results.

The Broncos quarterback was named AFC offensive player of the month for October, after completing 74.0 percent of his passes for a 126.7 rating, with nine touchdowns and one interception in three games.

He’s either leading or tied for the AFC lead in practically every significant passing category, and has a five-game streak of 300-yard passing days, and has posted a rating of at least 115.0 in three straight.

So if he’s not back, it’s a little scary to think what he’ll play like when he is.
