its sad to see such a hard working and dedicated player in decline like this. jackson has been a workhorse for the rams over the years and i consider him to be the more underrated RB. 7 years in a row over 1000 yards rushing is no easy task.

Jackson seems like he’s pretty well-adjusted and a genuinely nice guy, but I don’t see this working out well for him. No way the Rams can avoid shifting more carries to Richardson, who looks like 40-yard run just waiting to happen. His explosiveness reminds me of a young CJ2K.

Why would it bother him?? Had he been traded the Ram’s would have made sure it was too a contending team. That’s he has wanted his entire career

This might be a case of an average player on the down slope of his career severely overestimating his worth on the open market. Maybe he’s made enough money and wants a shot at a ring, but throwing away $7MM sure doesn’t sound like a bright move. The Rams must be elated.
