This is what the NFL should do with those fines, and every other fine for the month of November:

The NFL should add up every fine for the month, and not only donate that to storm relief, but either double or even triple the amount and donate that as well. So if the fine amount totals $1 million, the league kicks in 2-3 millon.

A small price to pay for a noble gesture (not to mention a great PR move).

Who cares about a sack if you can’t provide constant pressure? Allen got manhandled by Penn all game, and left the game leaking out of his face. Take your 1 sack because that is all you’re worth. OVERRATED!!

I was at the game and it looked like Jared Allen instigated this fight. He runs his mouth and plays a very dirty brand of football. He deserves a suspension. I feel bad for Donald Penn, he shouldn’t even have been fined considering he was just minding his own business.

So let me get this straight…

Penn grabs Allen’s facemask and won’t let go, Allen grabs his and then Penn rips Allens off, and punches Allen in the face drawing blood, and the NFL fines them both the same amount?

Jared Allen is great! Great character guy! All pro player. Just think he got frustrated by Penn & that’s why the altercation happened like it did in practice with Kalil, Allen’s teammate!

Allen got manhandled the entire game outside of one play, pretty much like the Vikings team as a whole, easily the most overrated team in the NFL this season.

Also the play calling on the Bucs side on that play after was flat out dumb, every other game the entire year they call a screen or a draw in that situation, that time they decide to do a 15 step drop. Otherwise the Bucs ran right at Allen all night and look at the huge game Martin put up. Overall, much like the “fight”, Penn got a decisive victory.

Clearly Penn was the instigator and should have had the bigger fine. So I guess you can’t defend yourself at all if someone takes a cheap shot at you. NFL is a joke.

Penn was the only one that threw anything close to a punch. I thought it was funny how Allen could hold off the much bigger Penn with one hand on the facemask. It reminded me of what I used to do to my little brother…

Did you watch the game? Penn was the instigator and got beat for a sack on the next play because he angered one of the best pass rushers in the NFL.
