Getty ImagesAfter tearing his ACL in the Super Bowl, Giants tight end Travis Beckum is back.
Chris Mortensen of ESPN is reporting that Beckum will be activated from the physically unable to perform list today, meaning he’ll be available for tomorrow’s game against the Steelers.
The Giants are a bit short at the position, with Bear Pascoe bothered by an ankle injury. They’ll release guard Mitch Petrus to make room for Beckum on the roster.
Beckum returned to practice last week, but they didn’t need the full three-week window to make a decision.

I love hearing about the Giants, but unless Beckum has gotten drastically better while injured this is barely news.
The soccer player???
No, the Wisconsin Badger. Beckum has a lot of potential. He just needs to stay healthy and get some experience.
He’s not the blocker that Pascoe is, but I suppose he can help in some passing situations.
remember that 60 yd touchdown catch and run by Beckum against the Pack?
